Wipe clear with the lens from outside.
Wipe clear the eye piece as well.

Yes, you will need to hook it up just like a normal DVD.

There is a convergence kit available for your model which contains the new ICs and resistors plus the instructions of how to install the repair kit on CD. Heres a link look under Panasonic repair kits and you will see your model listed.

You can use the component inputs on your Tv which is almost as good.

Replace c7136 & c7154 on A board This should clear up your problem

Signal / Main PC board AKA the "A" board is send for repair only = PTS corp ....Part # TNPH 0370.....250.00 Approx.
OR
Replace IC7001 & 7002....STK392-110 and inspect resistors.
If you have good electronic repair skills,you might attempt to
DIY...otherwise, hire a senior tech,if possible...............T.
