The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Both Vs and Va voltage should be checked. As far as audio is OK, the possibility of main digital board fault.

Just replace the main power supply board if there is no vs voltage output.

That problem from X main block. If you have volt meter or have axperience on electronic measurement, on panel plasma attached voltage for vs, vset, vsc, ve, va. Measure at the point of measurements. if there is a difference between the reference voltage on the panel, try to reset the voltage. If still do not work, please replace or contact samsung technician.

CHECK FOR ANY BACKLIGHTS, SOUNDS LIKE INVERTER BOARD OR POWER SUPPLY

samsung boards are around $200 EACH , usually a bad buffer burns out the Y board , buit yours sounds like a burn power suppy, do a visual of the PS, if looks ok ck for the VA and VS voltages (there is a tag with the values on it) . if the VA or VS is low or missing you will probably need the Y and both Y buffers.

your va and vs on power supply need to be adjusted but you have to know what your doing to set it right and requirs a volt meter
