Why am I getting the error code 22550

I can't get my plotter to print. Every time I try to print something it either does not respond or it prints a test page, blank page, or page I've already printed. I've disconnected and reconnected the plotter to no avail. What does error code: 22550 mean and how do I fix it?

Not sure what the error code is but if you open & close all covers it seems to clear.

It would be helpful to know the exact model number of your printer and the software level. If this is a PW300, it is an Initialization Error. Something is out of place that is not allowing the printer to start up properly. Opening and closing the lids may temporarily solve the issue but if it keeps on returning without having jams, there is either a sensor problem or the code level may need to get upgraded. New code levels have fixes that prevent false jam indications.

What is the error code 22550 on the OCE ColorWave 650

The error code 22550 on the OCE ColorWave 650 indicates a "Paper Jam in Output Tray".

This error typically occurs when paper or other debris becomes lodged in the output tray or the paper path leading to the output tray, preventing printed pages from exiting the printer.

To clear the error and resolve the issue, follow these steps:

1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
2. Open the output tray and remove any jammed paper or debris.
3. Check the paper path leading to the output tray for any obstructions or debris, and remove them as necessary.
4. Close the output tray and turn the printer back on.
5. Try printing a test page to ensure that the error has been cleared.

If the error persists, there may be a mechanical issue with the printer that requires service from a qualified technician.

Recommend updating the driver. Opening and closing the lid may temporarily alleviate the problem. Alternatively, contact a Cannon/OCE service representative who has access to the codes. The user manual does not address these specific codes.

HOW TO SOLVE ERROR CODE 79.2:04 IN MY HP DESIGNJET PLOTTER?

To answer your question in regards to a list of error codes on a diagnostic test, I have never seen a list and I have been looking for a really long time. From my understanding, the diagnostic report means more to the engineers. Usually each digit represents some aspect of the test. Are you having problems with the printer or are you just trying to understand the test page that printed off?

I am getting an error telling me to replace all 4 print heads. I thought it was odd that all 4 would go out at the same time. Should i replace all 4 print heads or is the problem something else? Maybe

This is general problem in hp plotters..
understand the concept: If U R replaced any one of print head in good working printer, printer detects new print head & it will try to align it with others. Printer will print align page to read, while reading if its found any other print heads are poor quality or bad condition, it will say to replace them also.. Some times it may 2,3 or all.
If UR printer is trying to printing align page and reading it, definitely it will detects & displays the faulty /poor quality print heads. U have to replace it..
If UR feels its expensive, try to clean the print heads manually & try for UR luck...

Error code 03130031 2618 print

The hardware error code indicates that a print head failure has been detected. Other possible causes of this error are a faulty cable connection to either one of the PCB's.
First try replacing the Print Heads and if the problem persist, re-seat the cabling to the Relay PCB and the Carriage Unit PCB.
Since you are unable to access service mode, you will need to ignore the normal print head replacement procedure and replace the printheads whilst the plotter is turned off.
The plotter will need to be disassembled to access the print head.
