the ticking noise is it coming from the engine or inside the car to fix the horn and wipers check the fuses numb 19 and 42 if fuses ok need to test your wiring and switches
The ticking/buzzing noise is a common problem on the RX330. There is a plastic pin that is attached to the instument panel which inserts into a plastic housing on the firewall. This holds it in place to the firewall. It is a design problem that model year. In the 2006-models on have a piece of felt covering the plastic pin to reduce the vibration noise. The same noise can occur on the passenger side behind the glove box. You can try to access the white pin and stuff some felt/cloth, but it is difficult with out dissassembling the dash or glovebox.
sounds like heater control valve situated under scullle panel common fault on ka set heater fan switch half way between hot and cold with heater blowing then touch valve if pulsing or clicking noise it is faulty if doesnt solve problem faulty switch
Check the oil! A ticking noise is most commonly a sign that there's a lack of oil running through the motor. Start the car and listen for general vicinity of the ticking noise. If the oil is fine and the noise is coming from the engine, there are oil additives that will quiet the noise. Ticking is also a sign of an old motor (guessing you have about 150K on this car) I hope this helps clarify your problem and wish you well with your car. All the best! Greg p.s. It is part of the waste gate just above the gas tank. It periodically checks for leaks and pressurizes and releases. Gives a ticking noise when it does this. Not a problem and GM is aware of this and said its normal on our cars.
