The major clue is Hawking not making a driver. Time to replace the unit.

usb products dont need drivers....just connec tot eh USB port and connect the lan cable to that...it's auto detect...
Windows will auto detect it...if any other OS is run then i am not sure if the driver that you got will work...

you could go to cnet.com go to downloads and then locate drivers. ps vote

before you remove the hawking software, go to the site for her computer, and download the wireless utility, and keep it handy on the desktop.

remove the hawking software, then re install the wireless drivers from the desktop file.

should work nicely
