Ps2 slim modded doesn't read ps2 modified games

I've got a ps2 slim modded but it doesn't read modified games. Anyway i tested the console and that's the results: Ps1 original CD: OK. Ps1 modified CD: OK. Original audio CD: OK. DVD ps2 original: OK. DVD modified ps2: do not start. DVD original video: OK. So there's only one problem: ps2 modified games. The chip mod is Infinity 1.33.. what can i do guys?

Ps2 wont SPIN disks it tries to read and spins for like 1sec PS2 SLIM

If it's having issues reading ANY kind of discs (CD's, DVD's, PS2 games) it might be due to a malfuctioning lense or a disk rotator motor issue.

Since it's agaisnt the PS2 TOS to modify or take apart your PS2 you should contact customer support or tech support with this issue.

If there's that option is not aviable you should try ordering the required parts online from different distribuitors: http://www.eachgame.net/category-88-b0-min0-max0-attr-1-sort_order-DESC.html

What is modding....how to install ext hard drive on the ps2 slim scph 90004

Modding is the process of putting a mod chip in the ps2 to read burned games and to hack games. I wouldn't recomend doing it because it is highly illegal.

My ps2 won't read dvd movies. I put them in and nothing happens. even when i click the browse selection. It plays the games just fine, but doesn't seem to read the movies at all.

you need to have a modded ps2 to play pirated movies which are not official copies if you are using an original dvd copy then try keeping a weight say a small mobile charger or a small book on the ps2 if you are using the slim ps2

How i can unlock ps2 to play pirate games

sorry buddy you cant unlock a ps2 to play pirated games. but depending on what kind of ps2 you have you can modify it to play your copied games if it is a fat ps2 you will need to buy a modchip for it or if you have a slim ps2 like mine all you have to do is order some swap magic discs at modchip.ca or .com then modify your slime line with a fliptop cover or the cheap free way is to use the tape and tissue mod that i use( just google tape and tissue mod) i play all my copied games and they work just fine. you can even play the classics such as sega genesis or supernes. afterdawn.com is an awsome website for all your ps2 modding needs it has all the guides from burning games to modding your ps2 ^^ hoped tht helps

My stuff din't work with pirated cd's?

There are multiple "Mods" which can be performed on a PSP (as well as on newer consoles as well).

Some are hardware mods (the addition of chips which expand or bypass (depending on a particular mod) to allow the recognition and playback of various formats, such as 3rd party software. The problem with modding is that if someone isn't careful, the mod can also brick the system (keep it from recognizing the original, retail PS2 games, movies, etc....

Besides that, I can't tell you much more about pirating software, since it's illegal and I'm no advocate of that. You should ask your friend what specific "Mod" was performed, if that's even the case.

PS.. My advice - Don't let anyone modify the hardware on any of your devices, unless you don't care if they ever work again. Also, you can't play online games/content with modded systems...since they are automatically detected and banned from the servers.

Modifying ps2?

Depends on what you want. Note that modifying your PS2 in any way voids your warranty. Original PS2's I'm not so sure about. It involves opening the console, though, and I'm sure you can find a video on youtube if you look for it. But since you can't do any modification that won't involve a modchip, you'd better be prepared to solder a chip on there.

Slim PS2's you have a better variety of options. Tissue/Tape mod which blocks two censors and the disc brake, allowing you to use the Swap Trick or get good use out of a Swap Disc.

If you get a swaptool, or make one, you can do this on both the original PS2 and the slimline PS2.

Look up Free_MCBoot, and have an empty memory card ready. Either use the swap trick or use Swap Magic to install the memory card exploit. It'll contain ESR, which allows you to play burned games.

But there will be no support for your piracy, either. Not from the makers of Free_MCBoot, or the modchip makers, or even myself.

How can i download games for playstation 2 through internet free.and burn to cd

well a slim ps2 may not be able to be modded as well as a phat ps2 which can take a hardrive which allows you to store files like ps2 games to play on a softmodded or hardmodded ps2!

Softmods:A softmod consists of modding a device but only its software[data, drivers] and thus its "soft"ware is changed allowing you to play ps2 game files or burned dvd ps2 games. One draw back is the slim ps2s could be softmodded, but you cant install a hardrive so its much harder to mod and almost pointless. You can play burned ps2 games but then a Hardmod is needed to help get past security chips!
You can use a method of putting tape and objects in the way of sensors in the ps2 so the ps2 slim will think the dvd tray is closed when its not and you perform a disc swap. look up ps2 disc swap techniqes.

With a phat ps2 you can simply put the modded files on the hardrive and then install them threw the ps2! look online for websites who can teach you how to get and do this stuff.

HardMod: A Hardmod consists of actually adding a physical chip to the device! this is by far the most task worthy. to be frank i cant install a chip on any device and even with the charts. but people are out there who will actually be able to install a mod chip on your ps2. you can find chips but you need someone to install it. i say find someone on the internet or ads who has the chips and the talent to install it.. costs about 150.00 less or more!

Ps2 slim doesn't play color. i beg you.

I have only seen this when the PS2 slim has been modded. What I do when this happens is hook the PS2 slim to a HD TV. This clears up the color. The modchip seems to drain the video power low enough that the normal TV with composite connection cannot resolve the signal. The only way to repair this is to get a new motherboard that is not modchipped. IF it is not modded, you still need a new motherbaord. Buy a broken will not read discs PS2 slim with that is NTSC or PAL whichever you use. Exchange the motherboards. You also need to be sure the Broken PS2 slim will boot up, and possibly read CD's but not Games.
