Try to download its service manual and refer it. Some paid download sites have service manual to this set. No free service manual available now. Try paid downloads.

SOURCE: How to troubleshoot Samsung plasma tv power supply

If relays are clicking, the problem could also be the diode connected to the relay or its own power supply. Check whether the relay is getting power enough to remain activated. This chattering can also be caused due to relays becoming weak or by short circuits on its load.

Need some help with my Samsung 65" Tv

Televisions that are hit during a storm often have one, two or all the boards damaged. The voltage surge can be considerable. The problem is the diagnostics, this explains

I have a Samsung un60d6450ufxza TV we had an electrical storm and while we were watching it the TV flashed and stopped working. The power board clicks, and the power light flashes No sound no pic

A voltage surge has damaged the power supply, the first board in line with the power cord that carried the transient.. Pull out the board and carefully examine all of its components, especially look for burnt or discolored resistors, bad diodes, bulging or leaking capacitors. If you have time and patience check out as many of the components as you can because the damage is on that board.
Worst case scenario is to get a new board. But if you check out ebay under the tv name, often you find sets and good replacement parts. Often the board has a part number on it and you can directly look for a listing for it on that site. Guaranteed to be good and often much less expensive that getting it from authorized supplier.

TV won't turn on

Power surges can do major damage to multiple boards, it is possible you have other faulty boards. You will need a multimeter at the very least to be sure.

Samsung tv won't turn on

try the main PCB. This has your CPu on it which controls this circuitry.
Try this web site, but use your COMPLETE model number as various sub models use different parts. https://www.encompassparts.com/model/SMGPN51F4500AFXZA/_/_/Samsung/PN51F4500AFXZA/51-INCH_PLASMA_4500_SERIES_TV_720P

Vizio plasma tv will not turn on by button or remote, cable box is lit. We had a loss of power last night due to a storm. What do we do to check it.

hi usually the cause of won't power on problem due to the storm is the current fluctuation which the tendency is power supply failure. now since totally dead set what you need is to open the tv unit then look for the power supply where the power cord is connected. check obvious defective component part like blown fuse and burnt part like resistor and capacitor. just replaced with the same value and ratings to avoid damage from others component.if their is no problem with the power supply the output voltages are good the main board get damaged. good luck thanks for consulting the fixya.

Ref: Philips LCD DVB 26"

You have a diode arrangement in your power supply that converts the AC power to DC power so that it can be stepped up to operate the high voltage power supply of the set. If those diodes are blown, which happens frequently in a storm, then you have no voltage to your high voltage. You are going to have to check that diode arrangement by making a continuity check both ways on each diode. A diode blocks voltage one way but lets it pass the other way, thus producing a DC voltage.
