Check your drive belt it might be badly worn which would make it loose.

SOURCE: troy-bilt model 13AN77TG766 wont go

The manual probably won't be of much help with this problem. Your transaxle may have seized up or failed due to the introduction of water into it. A lot of riders have had this problem, especially the ones with the DANA manufactured transaxle. I hope this is not your problem, and that the problem is in your shifter linkage between the lever and the transmission.

I am continuing to look for the manual. In the meanwhile, here is your complete machine with All parts, diagrams, breakdowns and part costs included. Hope this helps. It is sometimes tough to locate manuals as you have found.

Wont go into 3rd and 4th gear, all other gears no problem

Usually a shift solenoid causes this. If it drops out and quits moving forward until you slow down, This would be another internal problem.

My MTD Yard Machine will not pull off unless it is in 4th gear or higher. And slowes down when i start to cut the grass. What is going on?

The problem is most likely the gear box. I would take it to a repair shop, unless the machine is very old, then just replace it. The belt would most likely be the cause of the slowing down when mowing and should be replace when the gear box is repaired.

Troy bilt zero turn mower runs but does not move

Make sure the gears are engaged. There are 2 metal hooks on the rear of the mower, 1 on each side, if they are pulled out the mower is out of gear, make sure to slide them over so they retract back into the mower. If not the problem, sounds like either broken drive belts or the transmission isn't working properly.

Shifter moves on big bear 350 but quad wont reverse now it goes forwards

for some reason you are not getting into reverse , there is no real reason it should stay in forward gears unless there is someting wrong with the shifter itself being in the wrong position this can happen take it off and reposition it and make sure your clutch is disengauging to shift gears , will it go into all gears or just 1 forward , ck into that and be a little more specific on the problem ,good luck

Have a 95 suzuki sidekick had some work done on the wireing around fuel injectors now my engine light is on and it wont shift out of first gear.please help no money left

this should be a simple solution rock your vehicle forward then reverse on running engine
they call this trans lock usually happens on hills or pressing down the shifting knob
get a few friends to help push forward if cant start vehicle because in gear its like the old 4x4 hubs in order to get out of lock it needs to be rolled a little
my little 4x4 did same thing called a friend he told me same way to fix

Mower slips in and out of forward gear but rides perfect in reverse; What do I need to adjust?

Reverse is a different gear set than forward gears. Sounds like forward gear set has a broken tooth. Not an easy fix.
