Water keeps coming into our washer. It happened once when we first got it, but now it won't stop coming in. Once we ran the spin & rinse cycle it drained & we didn't have the problem again until now. It slowly fills while the washer is off & will eventually run out the front door if the door is open. How do we make the water stop coming in? It seems to be something with the inlet. What is causing this to happen?

Sounds like you need a new water valve (some debris inside the valve causing it to not fully close). These are availible from your local appliance parts store or on line from the manufacture. Once you have your replacement, just take the #20 torx screws out of the rear of the top panel slide the whole panel slightly towards the rear and lift it off. On the outside of the washer on the back panel, You should a light blue plastic thing that the 2 matching hoses from your house connect to. Turn your water off and remove these hoses. Just beside them you will find another #20 torx bit screw (some models use a #10 or #15). Remove this screw as well. Now from the inside of the machine, you will see 4 blue wires going into 2 connectors on the valve. Remove these connectors only by pulling on the connectors, not the wires. Lastly you will see a small black hose with a green or silver clamp on it. Squeeze the clamp with a pair of pliers and then slide it down the hose. The hose should now pull free of your old valve.

check to see if your pump is slightly plugged with a sock or ?
Your top loader should pump out in about a minute and a half when totally full of water.

hellow my name is joyce and It sounds like you have a issue with your cut off valve that controls the water flow to your machine in between cycles, this is controled by your timer switch you may want to call technichian to repair. sounds like the only problem you have with the timer is on the rinse cycle not the wash cycle, but it defently needs to be fixed. if I can help you find a repair person please let me know.
thanks you and let me know if I can further assist you.
