I can't use my phone. There is an error message saying that phone memory is full but actually all data have already been deleted. It has also been reset to original factory settings but still it shows the...

This error refers to the amount of free space under "Phone Memory".
As in, the 44mb of built in storage.
Just any number of these, including:
  • Call logs
  • Messages (BIG bluetooth receives)
  • Media stored on the phone, not on the card
  • Old Calendar entries
  • Browser bookmarks and saved pages
  • Apps on the phone; reinstall them to the Memory Card!
  • Unwanted contacts (harsh, I know...)
If this doesn't end the error, back up your stuffs then reset the phone using
*#7370#
Finally, this message differs entirely from "Memory low - close some apps." That one refers to low RAM limitations

I also have this problem about my nokia n73..i hvnt used my 44mb memory but it keeps saying "memory full. delete some data"..i already reformatted it but nothing changed..wat should i do??? plz help me

you have to format the cell.
This is the only solution i know.
Restroring setting is not going help you.
Before formating you take a backup of all the contacts, annivarsary, notes and etc and then press *, 3, green button and power buttom simiultaneously, until it asks for country.
It will help you and please vote me if it works.

Phone Memory Full

Dear Rohan_anand,

Actually the problem is because your SMS/MMS inbox is full.
Over the last six months you have piled plenty of messages in your inbox that you didnt delete. or you may have MP3's shared via bluetooth in your inbox.

Try saving them to you memory card and delete them from your inbox.

You will not receive this message anymore.

Let me know, if this doesnt solve your problem. Please leave a comment here as i will be checking it time to time.

Would appreciate if you can rate this solution if it solves your problem.

Best Regards,
Techno-geek.

Low memory msg

Happened to my n73 too. What you have to do is format the phone memory. Back up all memory on the phone to the memory card first before you do so.

To format:
  1. turn phone off.
  2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
  3. do not let go until it asks you about your location
Your phone will gain 44mb back and go back to normal. :)
