hi tom5162, You can reset all your settings by resetting your phone(By doing your data in phone will be deleted.....
To reset dial *2767*3855# ,it will reset your phone to factory mode.
To save your data, please backup your phone.....

SOURCE: SAMSUNG SOUL PHONE PASSWORD -

Just press (without simcard) *2767*3855# and phone will completely reset by it self and all codes will by set to factory state.00000000

Hi all,

Please enter the following code:
*2767*3855# WITHOUT simcard.

IMPORTANT: this will delete all user date saved on the phone itself (pics, contacts, messages etc) so make sure to make a back up first.

If the camera still has trouble after this reset then you will need to flash your phone.
This can be done with the latest firmware at www.unlocksamsungonline.com/samsungdebrand/
using original samsung usb cable that comes with the phone

*2767*3855# type this into the main screen on your phone and then press call it is a master reset. i have just tried nthis oin ym samsung u900 and it solved my problem :) Obviously if you have anything on the phone that you want to keep you will need to remove it as the master reset delets everything but it worked for me :)

I put a password on my msgs but now can't remember it

When a passcode is forgotten, as far as I know you need to call your cell phone provider customer service department. There's usually a number preset into your phone book to contact them. Tell them you forgot it. You are not the first and won't be the last to forget a password!
*There is a mastercode that is the first preset code on most phone and that is the last four digits of the phone number linked to it. You could try that as a last attemp before call customer service.
