That isn't a timing control board issue, see if you have PSON voltage for starters, if you do then test the various power supply voltages, it could be either the main or power board giving issues, but I would bet on the power supply is bad since the logo comes stays on

I would double check the capacitors on the power supply board. Make sure you don't have any that are bulged at the tops. Secondly, when you try and turn it on, does the orange light flash at all??
That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..
Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..
1. Open the back cover of your TV. 2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord.. 3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors.. 4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value.. 5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter
If TV is completely dead, no green/orange light, no any clicking sounds after you unplug it from the wall outlet and plug it back in - it is a problem with Power Board. Best case scenario - It's just a fuse that needed to be replaced. You have to remove back cover and locate fuses (1-4) on the board that power cord is attached to. You have to use multimeter to check it. If fuses are OK - next step is to replace whole power board. But before you do anything - make sure you got power out of the wall outlet and/or your power strip is in working condition.
