MALIBU 200 WATT IRON CORE TRANSFORMER MODEL NO 8100-0200-01 LIGHTS WONT TURN OFF

Plug power pack into cheap wall timer, and that will operate lights until warranty is resolved with Malibu or product-seller.

Simple power outage, or nearby lightning strike, can cause surge that will knock out digital timers. And knock out analog series power packs too.
You probably need receipt for warranty claim.
This timer is not shown on Intermatic site, and not subject to Intermatic 5-year warranty, but certainly Malibu must have a warranty of unknown length, and a corresponding claim procedure.

Double-check your installation, and additional resources:

Whole-house surge protection is hot item among folks these days since so many household items are now electronic, including appliances, washer-dryer, water heaters, timers, etc.
This will protect both 120Volt and 240Volt circuits, although it is unknown if your timer failed because of surge..

My Malibu ML 300 RTW has stopped working, but I can hear the timer. No lights come on, though.

Sounds like the transformer died which isn't uncommon. One cause is overloading the circuit (too many lights) figure out the total wattage by adding the bulb watttage usually 11 by the amount of lights you have. I would buy a transformer with around 200 Watts higher than you need to allow for expansion and the transformer wont have to "work" as hard.

Hello! I have a Malibu transformer for my outdoor lighting. Last night, we had a severe rain storm. During the storm, my outdoor lighting went out. When I went to check the transformer box this...

My malibu transformer has a reset button on the back near the terminal connections. If the transformer is on (time displays on the panel) but the light fixtures are not lit, look for the reset button on the back and depress it.

Why is my malibu 200 watts transformer not working, the timer will set off the lights but then not turn them off, then the next day they wont come on but when I rotate the dial they come on? Frank

Tripper might be worn down and not pushing switch.
Switch might be broken or worn down.
Improvise by setting timer to override and plug power into cheap plug-in timer.

Malibu landscape lighting transformer problem

Testing ohms across A and B will read open circuit through transformer coil.
Testing DC voltage across terminals A and B should read 12 volts DC, and nothing less.
Transformer should make humming sound when working.
Test that receptacle has power and breaker is not tripped.

There are no repair parts for power packs, but they come with 5 year limited warranty.
