You need to change ink card ridges. Most probably you are using refurbished cartridges

You need to have your printer go thru head cleaning cycle. Check to make sure the ink is not leaking from the cartridge. Are you using OEM ink or second hand?

HORIZONTAL LINES ACROSS T644 PRINTER AND 930.00 ERROR CODE

Hello,

The error code 930.00 indicates a problem in the laser print head section of the printer. This will cause error in the printouts like you are having. This type of problem is not user serviceable and will require an authorized service dealer to obtain and install the printhead assembly. This is directly from page 2-24 of the service manual.
tip

When u print if u r getting the Horizontal or vertical line then follow these...

If the print is a dismal gray rather than a sharp black, you are probably almost out of toner. This can manifest itself evenly across the entire page or in splotches or stripes, depending on the printer.
Sometimes you can wring a little bit more out of a toner cartridge by taking it out and gently shaking it from side to side (never up and down, as toner can spill out). You can also try turning up the printer’s contrast adjustment, if it has such a knob (usually on the back side if it exists). Faded print can also result from a dirty corona wire, because a dirty wire inhibits a full electrical charge from being passed.
If the printouts are consistently varied in density, and you have to frequently remove the toner cartridge and shake it to redistribute the toner inside it, make sure the printer is sitting on an even, flat surface.
Horizontal black lines
A horizontal black line on the printout is probably the result of a dirty or damaged roller. There are lots of rollers in the printer, and you can use the space between the lines on the page to determine which roller is causing the problem. Measure the distance between the errant black lines on the page and then use Table A to determine which part might be causing the problem. Table A
Distance between lines
Faulty part
0.5”
Registration assembly
1.5”
Upper registration roller
1.75”
Lower registration roller
2.0”
Toner cartridge developer roller
2.56”
Lower fusing assembly roller
3.16”
Upper fusing assembly roller
3.75”
Toner cartridge photo drum
Regularly spaced splotches
If there are evenly spaced black spots but they don’t extend all the way across the page, the problem is probably a scratch or flaw in the drum or a build-up of toner on the fusing roller. If the spots are less than three inches apart vertically, it’s probably the drum, because the drum has a larger diameter than the fusing roller.
Vertical black line on edge of page
This can indicate an almost empty or faulty toner cartridge or (less frequently) some spilled toner inside the printer.

White stripes or bands running across the printout. I raelise that these are caused by some of ther print nozzles being blocked and have carried out the following: several clean head runs followed by...

have you done a print alignment.. You could also stand to take out the ink and clean the ink compartment with some q-tips and rubbing alcohol.
I hope this helps..

Red and blue lines across printouts

open printing preferences and click on maintenance. Run the print head alignment utility. Sometimes this will remove the horizontal banding. I had this same problem and had to uninstall the printer and reinstall just like it was new, running the alignment feature before it was corrected. Worked ok for a few days then started again. I assumed that the printhead is bad. To costly to repair and bought a new printer.

Printing coloured lines on paper across the page

Try to clean the area around the head output (sprayer). I think it's caused by the waste ink around the head.

Repeated cyan line across printouts.

Need to replace the cyan PCU. It is a user replaceable item. Here is a link to user manual:

Epson al cx11nf print problems: Lines on side of output

This could be caused by a dirty lens on the laser unit. Try cleaning the laser window. Open the front panel (where you change the toner) and the right you will see a blue lever/handle - pull it out towards you. Now on the right side panel of the printer you will notice a little plastic panel about 2"x0.75" - open that and you will see inside another handle. Pull this handle out and back in a few times. This draws a cleaner pad across the lens. If toner has fallen onto the lens it makes the are it has fallen onto create blank lines on the print. If this does not solve your issue then the next suspect would be the PCU. Just get another one (same as C1100 if you can borrow one) and try it.

White bands across printouts

Either one of the print heads are bad or a cartridge. This is what causes that problem. I know it is a hassle but I would take it back. If try and fix it you could void the warranty.

Colour lines across the page

Hey Paul, Can you post a scan of the printed paper? It may help diagnose your problem. The most common cause of lines accross the page is either the PhotoConductor Unit or the 2ND BTR Assy.
