How to set date on xhilaration - Fossil Xhilaration White Rubber Bumpy Strap Watch with Pink Dial

TGXL103GRN Check inside watch where the battery holding area has a metal tab to secure it. There's always a big gap btwn the tab/batt area and where it makes keyboard contact. To fix:
1 remove screws and watch back.
2 put tiny screws in dish
3 notice battery condition/position.
4 change batt if necessary
5 fold a tiny piece of paper to fill gap
6 use tweezer to put in place (no foil, no glue)
7 to test if gap is gone, close watch
8 must screw shut + reset to test
9 be patient, adjust as needed
10 take care to not strip screws.

Did everthing and it still wont stay at the time a had it set at
and i have the xhilaration FMDX206 52.

hold reset and then push start at the same time...the alarm bars disappear

press on the MR/C (set) button. This button is located on the calculator buttons area of the watch. Hold this button until the date begins to blink. you select the numbers you want to set the date and time to by pressing the correspondent numbers on the key pad. once the date and time is set press the enter key.

press the setup button 3 times then followed by the right side button then press & hold the left side button for 5 secs. May take 3 or 4 tries to get it right.

After you unscrew the crown it is already in winding position. If you pull the crown, it will go to the date setting position. Further pull of crown will set it in time setting position. Try to pull the crown till you get it in correct date setting position and change the desired date. Do not use the date setting between 10pm - 2am, as this can damage date mechanism. The best way is to pull out crown to the time setting position and set the time to 6.30(anytime) and then push the crown in to date setting position and change the date to the previous day's date. Then again pull the crown out to the time setting position and advance hands forwards (clock wise) till hands pass 12.00 (midnight) and the date changes automatically to the desired one, then adjust the time, push the crown fully in and screw the crown on.
