Why does print comes out with line streaks through print

Run the printers maintenance software and run the align print head option and the run the clean print head option and check again and see if the streaking is still occurring.

Vertical streaks:
Check,which color/s streaks are appearing on print out,remove that cartridge/s check on drum surface for streaks.. if found replace that cartridge/s..check.
Horizontal streaks:
This problem appears when the cartridge/s image drum not rotating properly. Resit the cartridges properly, print 20nos of blank pages, then check.... replace the cartridge..

Streaks can come from several sources. Since you said they appear near the end of a plot, the print heads may be running out of ink before the end of the job. This would happen if you had air in the ink tube system and consequently in the heads. When the printer is idle for a while, ink will migrate to the bottom of the print head so when you print again it is ok for the first part of the plot and then gets to the air bubble.

Open the back door of the plotter and look for air bubbles in the ink supply lines. If air is present, it needs to come out. There is a purging tool at Designjet Ink Tube Priming Tool . The print heads may need to be replaced, but not before the tube system is clean.

If the streak is like a thin double image line, or the print feels like it rubs off then it is coming from the fuser film. The fusing units are fairly inexpensive and not hard to replace but if you have to have someone do it for you then it might be just as cheap to get a new laser printer.
Look at the exit section of the printer where the paper comes out. The fuser film is a grey "roller" that sits on top of an orange roller. If you can see the grey sheet you may be able to see the defect line in the middle of the sheet that is causing the line.

Hello sir;The streak line from printing also should be from copy, because the line come from imaging unit, check the meter count if close to or over 50,000 then replace drum and drum blade, it will take care the problem.
The brother printer you need to replace imaging unit( drum unit).

vertical lines on prints usually means either the drum's cleaning blade is not cleaning the drum (or the drum is damaged) or the fuser is scored. scored means that the protective coating on the fuser rollers is damaged. I would check the rollers on the fuser (the hot part of the printer right near the paper exit) for any lines on it, if you look at your prints, you should see them in the same location on the fuser. if you do not see any lines on the fuser rollers, then replace the drum.

Perform Print Head Alignment Instructions to perform a Print Head Alignment directly from the machine. If diagrams or ruled lines are misaligned, print head alignment is required. The print head alignment can be performed automatically or manually. If the automatic print head alignment does not work, adjust the print head manually. Automatic Print Head Alignment

1. Press <ON/OFF> to turn on the machine.
   
   
2. Load a few sheets of letter-sized plain paper in the auto sheet feeder.
   
   
3. Press the Open button to open the Paper Output Tray. Then open up and set the extension by pressing down the hollow on the front side.
   
   
4. Execute automatic print head alignment.
   
5. 1. Press <COPY> button.
      
   2. Press <Menu> repeatedly to select [MAINTENACE].
      
   3. Press the left or right cursor to select [AUTO HEAD ALIGN], then press the <OK>. (A pattern is printed and the print head is automatically aligned. It takes about five minutes to finish printing the pattern.)
      
      
      
      

Manual print head alignment

1. Press <ON/OFF> to turn on the machine.
   
   
2. Load two sheets of Letter-sized plain paper in the auto sheet feeder or cassette.
   
   
3. Ensure that the proper paper source is selected.
   
   
4. Execute manual print head alignment.
   
5. 1. Press <Menu> repeatedly to select [MAINTENACE].
      
   2. Press the left or right cursor to select [ALIGN PRINT HEAD], then press the <OK>. (The nozzle check pattern is printed.)
      
      
6. Check the printed patterns and use the left or right arrow to input the number of the pattern in column A that has the least noticeable streaks.
   
   
   
   
7. Press <OK> to move the cursor to column B, and then use the left or right arrow to input the number of the pattern that has the least noticeable streaks.
   
   
8. Repeat the procedure until you finish inputting the pattern number for column P.
   
   
   
   
9. When you have finished inputting all pattern numbers, press <OK>.
   
   Note: For columns A through N select the patterns with the least visible vertical streaks. For columns O and P select the patterns with the fewest visible horizontal streaks.

Copies come out with one black line

Clearly bad toner cartridge. After long periods of time, the cleaning blade dries out. This cleaning blade works just as the wiper blades of your car. When they wear or dry out, you get streaking water lines in the windshield. Most manufacturers print an expiration date on the consumables wichi you can check before purchasing. Also try not to stock more consumables than those you plan to use within 6 months.

If when you open the rt. door are the streaks on the drum unit? If not remove the 1 screw and slide the fuser out and check there
