Where is the changer fuze located on an audiovox SP10 CD? My magazine will not release and I get a "no dj" message on radio screen. I checked power cable and power is present at changer end of cable. Thanks for your assistance.
It's not a fuse. More than likely it tried to load 2 discs into the same slot and jammed. That's one of the most common problems with shangers. If you pull the unit out of the vehicle and open the top you will see how it's jammed. Lightly move the CD towards the tray side, not into the cartridge, then plug the unit back in. It will reset itself and then you can eject the cartridge. Then inspect the cartridge for warps or cracks. You may want to replace the cartridge, they do wear out. Also, a good habit is to run a Laser lens cleaner thru the unit itself 3 or 4 times a year to keep the lens clean. It's really the only maintanance you can do. Hope this helps
