Part of the readout is working and part is not

I believe one of the Accessibility Readout options is enabled. From the home screen, press the Left soft key. Select Menu, then Settings. Go to Accessibility and then Easy-Setup. Check that the following are off: Full Readout, Digit Dial Readout, Alert Readout. (Alternatively, you can look at each of these individually from the Accessibility menu.) There may be other options to check in the Readout options but these seem the most likely.

Go to Sharp's website and check availability of the clock/timer readout board. Being that old you may not be successful, but it;s worth a try.

I understand that the left hand side digital readout is not working on your Frigidaire range, model# PLEF398DCH. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Sometimes there can be a miscommunication between the different boards inside your appliance. Once you restore power, you will need to set the clock and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Turn off printer.
Close readout cover.
Unplug printer. Wait at least 5 minutes.
Plug back in printer
Open readout cover
Turn printer on
This will reset the printer
If this does not work, try turn off printer
Open and close the readout cover slowly couple of times
Turn printer back on
If still does not work, try a different outlet

I would say it is a sign of trouble.

Not to say that it's catastrophic, but on these models part can be pretty expensive.

Your controller is in a program mode ! To exiit program mode you will need press and hold the P button for 5 seconds to exit programming.

My Alpine CDA-7842 works fine from a functional point of view but the display (readout) had stopped working. All the lights on the display work but the actual readout is blank. At first the readout would intermittently work now it's completely dead. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
