How do you install downloaded programs on the Dell Axim X30?

Downloaded programs can be installed onto the Dell Axim X30 using Microsoft ActiveSync. Microsoft ActiveSync can be installed onto your computer using the Dell Companion CD which came with your Axim X30.
Once Microsoft ActiveSync is set up on your computer, if the program you downloaded came in an installer file, then double-clicking on the file will start the installation wizard and the software will be automatically transferred to the Axim.
If the program you downloaded did not come as an installer file, then double-clicking it will bring up an error message. In that case, use ActiveSync Explore to copy the program file to the Program Files folder on your Axim.

I have purchased an R4 card and micro sd card for my DS. I have been told that I need to download the software for it, does anybody know what software I need to download before i can transfer my games onto...

google R4 revolution or R4 card. You will see a host of websites. Each one will have a download for the card... Your best bet for finding the correct kernel is to go to the website that you purchased the card from and there should be a link to download the firmware( kernel ) for the card. Once you get the firmware you will need to transfer that onto your micro sd card using the TF adapter that should have come with the R4 card. Make sure you transfer everything over to the micro .... After you get the info onto the card make folders for your media. Label them correctly so you can find them on your ds. Label one music one movies one games. After that is done insert your micro sd card into the R4 and plug it into your ds... have fun ..these cards really open the ds up to a ton of neat and fun programs

What software do i need to install so my r4i card so it will work on my sons dsi

The website that you purchased your R4 card will have the latest firmware for download. Download the package and move it to your sd micro card with the adapter provided. After you have the software on the card you will need to make some folders for your games and media. I know with the R4 revolution card there were a total of four files I had to copy to the micro card. I do not have a R4i card so there may be more folders to copy over to the card. It is fairly simple process. I know with my R4 card I am limited to size of the micro card ... you may want to check if the R4i card also has these limitations, but I don't think it does..... Hope this helps good luck

Transfering pictures

well the easiest solution is to get a micro sd card for 15 bucks and transfer them that way.

Did you download the drivers for your blackjack onto your computer is the next question.

assuming you did, and it is working correctly, just simply go to my computer (windows based) while plugged into your usb, you should be able to just file explore there. that will bring up your pictures.

(last suggestion, go to a cvs, walgreens, etc...and bluetooth them to a kodak picture kiosk, put them on a cd for 3 bucks.

How to download songs from PC to phone?

You can either use an SD card to download media from PC or if you have a data cable, download Activesync (latest 4.5) from Microsoft to allow PC connection.

Syncing with PC (windows xp)

Without seeing the error files, it's hard to say what the problem is, here's a few guesses 1. Did you type your contacts into the default contact list? This is the one at the top of the Outlook folder list. You should NOT create a subfolder because ActiveSync by default only synchronizes that one file. 2. You may have an antivirus or internet security program that is preventing ActiveSync from synching. This would show up in the error log. To try this, turn off: - Any firewall programs (including the Windows default one) - Any antivirus programs - Any internet security programs If this solves your problem you should add them back one by one to isolate the issue. Then when you find the problematic program, manually add ActiveSync to the list of always allowed applications.
