Is unit where there is no heat? Your fridge thermostat measures temperature in the refrigerator section. So if it’s 32 degrees where Fridge is located, then it doesn’t have to run to maintain 35-37 degrees inside fridge section. Thus feeezer doesn’t get cold enough to freeze.

The fan motor is essentially a universal fit on several brands of refrigerators. you will have to save the wiring from the original fan and attach some terminals for the replacement fan

Let it stand in the on position at least an hour to check it's not going through a self defrost cycle. If the temp display then doesn't change and the compressor doesn't run check you have power to the compressor and condenser fan

No, the little fridge doesn't have a pressure switch to turn the compressor off when freon is low. And no, auto freon is the wrong kind and it wont work in the little fridge. The freon that your little fridge uses is the stuff that all the fuss has been about (with the ozone layer), so it is not sold to appliance owners but only to licensed techs.

I think that now that the timer has been opened it needs to be replaced. However the timer doesn't generally shut of just the fan, it's designed to stop the compressor from running and turn on the electric defroster.
Most of the time that a freezer gets cold and the fridge doesn't means that you either have a bad cooling fan or a blockage from ice. A complete defrost will ensure it's not a clog.
Even bench testing the fan is not a full proof test. Usually when you test the fan its in room temperature air and most people test the fan laying down.
The fan operate on very small bearings which are very sensitive to temperature, so testing a fan outside the fridge, you would need to test it in a cold environment and move the fan in multiple directions.
I would suggest that you purchase both a new timer and a new fan.

Not sure exactly what type of fridge your talking about here, as heading says dometic, your comments say electrolux, but I will say this. If it works good with engine running then I'd be looking at my charging circuits and auxiliary batteries circuit. Look for a battery isolator in the circuit as well.

How old is the fridge? Can you hear it running?
It could me many things. Could be anything from a dead compressor to a coolant leak.

Did someone change thermostat setting, maybe during a cleaning? There's a knob in the refrigerator section somewhere; see if it's turned to "Off" or to a less-than-cold setting.

If you hear the motor running, but it doesn't get cold, it probably doesn't have any refrigerant to compress. That could be recharged, but modern refrigerators are pretty tight, so that would also indicate a leak. With a leak, it will need recharging again sometime later.

hope your food isn t spoiled ,first of all grab a lamp and plug it into the same socket and if it doesn t light check your breaker second if you know which outlet does work get an extension cord and run that over to fridge and plug it in and see what happens could also be a breaker be careful electricity if the fridge starts your doin good
