Why won't it start?

Here are a couple of things you can try:

Turn the lens clockwise then push the power button. As soon as you hear a click when you turn it push the power button and it should power up. Or
1. Push the power button.
2. double-tap the play-button at the bottom and the screen should activate. If so, push the menu-button. Go to settings and choose reset.

Pentax optio w80 waterproof digital camera won't turn on

I had the same problem. I checked the voltage first to ensure it was greater than 3.7V (some batteries were not). I left the door open and pushed the battery down and pressed the button and it powered up. Seems to be a problem with the contacts. I put about 6 layers of duct tape on top of the battery to cause the door to push it down and now it works.

Kodak easyshare c1530 won't turn on after slighty dropped

Hello Doris, You can "GENTLY" try to push the lens slowly back into the camera with the palm of your hand, note I said gently and slowly, do not use force !!! Then turn on camera and see if this helped, if not it is repair time.

I have a vpc-E1500tp and it won't turn on and it won't charge... What do I do?

Lens is not all the way extended, so you can not turn it on. the defect maybe fixed buy pushing on the power button and pull the lens out gently by wiggling the lens? It may all be futile. Buy a new camera.
