How do you change battery in clio sat nav remote

Probably a motor or gear failure!
You could probably do the work yourself. the sat nav screen is accessed by popping up the speaker grille, then 4 no. torx screws fix it down to the dash. when removed there are two black plastics bits of the case and the one on the right houses the motor, driven on cog wheels, its that easy. and then you could investigate and maybe repair yourself. good luck

Sounds like it is not getting a clear path to the sky. Try putting it in a different location in the windshield. had this problem with one couple where the wife wanted to hold it in her lap and give her husband directions. This doesn't work it has to be in windshield with clear view of sky. If that doesn't work try a reset. Another problem could be interference from something jamming/ blocking signal like Bluetooth radio try turning every thing off in car and see if you can get a signal also get away from all buildings .

should power up all the time

sales pitch doesn't mention a short life battery
can t find a user manual for that one

unplug it after a while if it wont function then it may not have a battery feature

Setting is on your Sat Nav, Check " Setting Section "

switches on but no navigation. Press navigation and it bleeps only but will not change mode for search

Only if its a hardware based sat-nav, if its a head unit sat nav with a sat nav disc in then no.

Does the sat nav work without the disc in the head unit... if not then no.

Bad battery. Look up your model number on the intrnet and it should tell you what batteries you need.

stick a pin in the reset hole in the back.that should fix the problem.
