It's probably detecting the humidity and shutting off because the clothes are dry.
From the manual, (which you should read)
"Drying and Cycle Tips
Select the correct cycle and dryness level or temperature for your
load. If an Auto Cycle is running, the display shows the estimated
cycle time, which is determined by your dryer automatically
sensing the dryness level of your load. If a Timed Cycle or
SteamCare Cycle is running, the display shows the exact number
of minutes remaining in the cycle"
My guess is you don't have it switched to timed cycle?
Dryer has a moisture sensor that detects the clothes are dry so it shuts off earlier. If the clothes are still damp then the dryer vent may be plugged and causing the unit to run hot or not able to fully evacuate the air from the machine. Clean the vent and make sure it's completely free and try again. If it short cycles again and clothes still damp you may have a sensor controller issue.

I see that you are stating your Frigidaire dryer will run for a few minutes and then shut down. It sounds like a potential problem with your control panel or wiring harness.
