SOURCE: batteries in my kodak easyshare camera don't last

Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher).
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Turn on your camera without the memory card.

SOURCE: My Kodak EasyShare won't power on.

Are you using the batteries that came with the camera? If you are, some people have had trouble with them, read this review:
http://reviews.bestbuy.com/3545/9480215/reviews.htm
If you're using a new set of batteries, make sure they're fully charged (measure them with a voltmeter or other device). If they look good, make sure the contacts inside the camera are clean (you can clean them with a pencil eraser, or q-tip and at least 90% alcohol). If you're using rechargeable batteries, they just don't last as long as alkalines, and I haven't had much luck at all with them, so I don't recommend them. I've seen other reviews where people had the same experience you're having. Take the camera back, if you can, and exchange it, you're not going to be happy with it. I would recommend getting a camera with a Li-ion rechargeable battery- they don't take as many pics as alkalines, but they come close and they're free (they come with the camera).

SOURCE: kodak easyshare ls743. lens wont retract. camera error #E45 shows on screen. battery is fully charged.

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

You can also have a look at THIS link.

Hope the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance. Also, please be so kind to let me know if you found this helpful.

Regards
Andrea

Trying to insert new memory card and says memory full. When try to format it, says 00100 error. Kodak Easyshare CW330

The CW330 uses MMC and SD cards. Make sure you have one of those cards, 2GB or smaller, and not an SDHC card.

My batterry door is broken I don't know how to put

KODAK doesn't sell battery doors for any of their models.

A repair for this fault is 24,47 pounds + shipping to the repair centre.
If you already have the battery door; I suggest you will have a local camera TECH to attach the door to the unit.

When trying to tag pictures for printing, once i hit the share button and then OK for it to go to the screen to select the number of prints, the camera just goes to the screen to take a picture instead

There is existing KODAK model no: CW330. I think you have a C330.

I hope the fault will clear via uploading new firmware:
Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.
