How do you reset a frigadaire freezer

Time for a new freezer. The lights are telling you power is on and temperature not being reached. No amount of resetting will alter this.

Frigadaire temp light will not go off but still cold

Do not know if you mean the cavity light or the power indicator light at the outside bottom of the door. The power light is always on when there is power to the unit. it could be red or green. The light switch could be shorted closed or open depening on the MFG design. Rare but can happen, ground short through light wiring. Access / remove light switch, remove one of the wires. If the light goes out...the switch is bad. If possible and you have a multimeter and know how to use it. Remove both switch wires and with unit unplugged measure resistance to ground. open - zero through load L1, continuity through neutral. Plugged in 120v between load L1 & ground, zero volts between Neutral & ground. Keep bulb in receptical. Call qualified tech is not sure how to use tools to test.

My refrigerator's inner fan was making weird noises. After some time I poked it and then it stopped moving. The fan is now unable to turn. What should I do?

Two things could be wrong. Motor bad or frozen up with ice.The noise could have been
from frost building up and hitting the fan.If this is the case you need to defrost. Even self
defrost models do this some times..Empty freezer and run a hair blower (dryer) to put heat
in the compartment. this could take a while to do. over night...So run blower for a while to heat up the freezer then shut it off, close door .let sit It takes time for the heat to get to the ice.

if the motor is bad you will have to take inside cover off the access the motor

Freezer temperature v

This sounds like your motherboard, computer or control board(they call it different things in different models) is bad. It is responsible for the fan speed and timing of the defrost cycle. To locate your timer, motherboard, control or adaptive defrost control , enter your model number and search for the part or post back on Fixya.

Kenmore 253 9280413 freezer keeps running

The coils are embedded in the outer walls and will make the cabinet feel warm outside when the compressor is running. It needs about 4 inches of clear air space around all the outer case walls to properly get rid of its heat. If you have items stored too close to the outer walls they will act as insulation to keep heat from being dissipated. This can cause long run times.

A unit that has lost freon gas due to leakage, while unlikely, can also extend run times. Normal temperature should be about Zero when the dial is set to halfway.

Good Luck
