Easy! Simply turn the water off, pry the cover loose, raise the handle until the screw head is centered in the access hole, find the right size allen wrench and remove the screw, then the handle can be removed.

SOURCE: Moen 7065 leaking at base of lever control in kitchen faucet

Yes, a cartridge will probably solve it. There are two different Moen cartridges so be sure to take the old one with you so you get the correct one.

SOURCE: How do I replace the cartridge in my Moen 7065 Vestige Single Handled kitchen Faucet?

first the water needs to be shut off, then with an allan wrench if i remember it should be 1/8. the allan screw is located in the handle. remove the screw completely and under the handle should be a nut, with a crescent wrench remove the nut and the cartridge should be ready to be removed. it is going to be difficult to come out with out the proper moen tool but vise grips will help as you have to pull straight up. if you find a plumping wholesale and give them the model # they should be able to give you the right cartridge. or if you call moen the will ship you one either way it should be free as that is a warranty item.

I have a single lever Moen faucet where the handle is very loose and there is no button on the back side that would reveal an allen key, so I cannot tell how to tighten it back up. What should I do?

On almost all moen single handle faucets there is no allen set screw to hold handle on. They are secured by a screw located under Moen emblem in the center of the faucet on the top. You usually can get to the handle screw by prying cover off with small blade screwdriver or point of knife blade.. Tighten screw and hopefully this will fix your problem. Thank you.

Cannot remove handle. Allen wrench receiver is stripped. Are there any other options? Thanks!

There is a home cleaning product called the The Works which will loosen the corrosion around the screw. Then use a screw extractor tool. You can find one at most hardware stores and home centers.
Another solution would be to call Moen Customer Support and ask for a new handle and repair parts for free. The faucet should have a lifetime warranty. When you have the new faucet parts in hand, literally cut the handle off the faucet with a hacksaw or drill the screw out to remove the handle.

The handle is loose. It's a single lever control. The mechanism the level connects to still works fine. No leaks, but the handle is now quite wobbly, and I don't know how to tighten it. Do I pry out that...

Remove the plastic red and blue insert or what ever color yours is under the handle in the front. Tighten the set screw with an allen wrench. Be careful not to over tighten or the screw will break off.

Dripping faucet

Moen is a cartridge style unit. They make two different cartridges that you can buy at Home Depot. Turn the water off under the sink and then remove the handle. You will see the the cartridge. It has a U shaped retaining clip that pulls out. Once you remove it, then take a pair of pliers and pull the cartridge out. Take it up to HD and match the one you have. The new one will slide right back in and you will reverse the process.
