How to uninstall Genio

I do not know how it happened but Genio suddenly appeared. When I clic on Firefox, Genio appears instead.

Go to your applications. It should be there. Delete it from there.

Go on-line and Google uninstall Genio. Download the simple application and run it. Lo and behold - Genio is gone. You may have to reset your browser to Safari or Firefox or whatever and reset your landing page in browser preferences. Here's another solution: Go to toolbar; Genieo is on the top right hand side. Click on the icon and press "disconnect". This allows you to move it into trash.

Hi. how can i uninstall chatvibes on my firefox browser?
I did this just 2 minutes ago. Just as you were posting this question.

For the latest version of Firefox in Windows Vista or 7, click on the orange FIREFOX tab on the top-left of the window & select Add-ons; it wil open up the add-ons manager in a new tab. Click on "Extensions" on the left side & browse the list that appears for the ChatVibes entry & click "Remove".
Changes will take effect after you restart Firefox.

For Windows XP, it's generally the same except instead of clicking the Firefox button on the top-left, just click on the Tools Menu on the top of the window.

Its because the browser that you are you using is not your default browser, I believe that your default browser is Firefox, You can try to restart the computer then open up the other browser that you have which is not Firefox, there will be a message there if you want to make that as your default browser, just click on yes, in that way, it will stopped Firefox to appear everytime you open up a tab.

Note: If nothing happens and still the same, you can uninstall firefox by going to the Control Panel then click on Uninstall a Program ( Windows Vista/ Windows 7 ) Add and Remove Programs ( windows XP ) then look for Mozilla Firefox and then uninstall it.

For that go to start menu->control panel->display ->property->appearance ->3d object then select color gray then apply and check . Also uninstall any software for change color from control panel->add remove programs if installed. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Removing sweetim from firefox
First, Open Mozilla FireFox in Safe Mode:

Start > All Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Click Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)
