Spa pumps are not only for Heat. The pup also circulates water thru the filter and provides optimal chemical dispersion. Recommend you call the customer service see how your warranty has been holding up and go from there.

I think that replacing the temp sensor will solve this problem.

make sure your filter is clean, heat pumps are fussy about too much back pressure. you might try it with the filter cartdrige renoved

I had the same problem last week. I called a technician who found out that the capacitor was defective. Cost 50$ + the service call.

If the capacitor is working, it might be the compressor...
