Depend on which staples. Saddle stich (example, Church service program with staples in the middle type) or booklet/corner with the staple on the left side or the corner. open finisher pull out the big section to the left side see to blue/green handles rear one is for corner staple which goes the fastest do to being used the most. when you pull them out there is a plastic guide they should follow if they don't line up power off the machine close all door power on machine. the stapler should go to default location which allows the staple cart. to be removed. DO NOT THROW THE CART AWAY!!!! YOU will be replacing the staples in the cart. Once out Push at he bottom pull the top. DO NOT PULL THE WHITE WRAP ON THE NEW STAPLE UNTIL INSTALLED in the cart. Had customer do that staples spilled on the floor customer installed the staples in the wrong direction.
Also be careful the is a tiny black accurator the mite come out keep it that's what tells the copier the staple is installed give to technician to reinstall.
just pressing down green colour stapler cart & pull out, its easy to remove it for whole set, unless you are changing bullot pin only, its similay to DI3510 & its equivalent.
If you have the finisher pictured above: If the machine is asking for staples, press "Finishing" on the panel then "Add Staples" this will move the staple unit to the front of the finisher. If the machine is not asking for staples but is not stapling paper then you may have a staple jam. To get the staple unit out: Open front door of finisher, Locate green turn wheel (this is horizontal in bottom left of finisher front door and is connected to white gears) turn this green turn wheel and the staple unit will be moved to the front of the finisher. Remove blue staple cartridge and remove the staple jam. After you reinstall the cartridge into the staple unit just close the finisher door and the unit will move back to home position on its own.
