If you are facing high power voltage issue purchase power controller and used it... chips laser cartridge for Ricoh Aficio SP 3510SF chips reset original... and chips Toner reset chip for Ricoh Aficio SP C220 C222 chips color laser... and HP Printer Support

you had to go in sp mode to reset the new inserted cartridge.Have you try it before & if not the machine is in auto jammed mode due to no tone left....... sawadee kap

You probably don't have an online key on a 5200dn. In this case you need to power on while holding escape and the third LCD Burton which is directly above escape. It should reset just by doing this. Mine did just about 5 min ago :)

WE HAVE RICOH PRINTER SP 1100SF & REPLACED CARTRIDGE WITH NEW RECYCLED BLACK TONNER CARTRIDGE FROM POWER POINT, BUT UNABLE TO PRINT AS CHIP GIVEN IS NOT ACCEPTED BY PRINTER. TRIED 3 DIFFERENT CHIPS STILL PROBLEM PERSISTS. WHAT MAY BE THE RESEASON AND SOLUTION

i don't think there is an sp for that
there is an sp only to temporary reset the add toner

You could try going into the sp modes and check sp 5052-1 this is for independent toner check if the toner cartridge was checked by the copier as empty and you refilled it the machines check of the chip still senses it empty by turning this off it could reset it for you .. I have had some mixed results sometimes it works only occasional failure.. Hope it helps Good Luck A

I believe you will need to purchase and install a reset chip. You can find them for the Ricoh C410 here at www.cfriends.com (that links straight tothe ricoh page - but if you need to search, type in "c410" into the search field on their site).

Unfortunately the newer ricoh equipment may include a chip like the HP toner. This allows the printer to track the usage so the printer can "intelligently" determine how much toner remains in the bottle. The chip overides all other factors on the remaining toner. Hence, if the chip "thinks" that the toner bottle has little or no toner left, it will give you a false toner low message. Presently, you can only replace the toner with a new bottle.
