FRATRON SCREEN NOT WORKING

Try an external monitor to determine f it is the screen or the computer output. If the LCD is bad, it can be replaced. If not, the Oxford will be expensive ( motherboards are not cheap).

Check the backlight inverter board to your TV. This is a common fault for most of the LCD TVs. If it is faulty, the backlight won't light up, resulting a balck screen with sound.

Remove your webcam and un-install the driver from the PC. Perhaps it is possible that the driver had gone corrupt and so will need a reinstallation. Please install the drivers again and connect the webcam when prompted on the PC. If there is no picture then the fault can be due to a faulty webcam which can be checked and confirmed on another PC. Make sure the drivers downloaded are good, if not repeat the process with a new download.

If you get the same result with the other monitors, you may have to replace your VGA card.
First turn off the system.
Remove the VGA card from your computer.
Clean it and fix it again. This might fix the problem.
If you get the same result, replace your VGA card.

push the standby button and it should turn on the blue display should light up brighter make sure the speakers are pluged through the back and change the button that says source.. and change it too fm radio you should hear the static. hope this helps

right click on the drive , format it and it should work, if this not solves your problem go to the shop and use your warranty, it may be broken.

have you checked that the av cables are pluged in properly???

It's dead. Throw it out and buy an i-pod. My e280 did the
same thing. One day: fine, the next day: Blue Ring of Death.
I have tried everything on the internet, even downloaded Ubuntu and typed in all the e200tool Nuclearscriping BOARDSUPPORTSD and Manufacturing Mode commands. Nothing. It's dead 2months out of warranty. Piece of %$#@!!

When The Light Is Blue You are getting Power To The Unit. Have You Tried removing the battery Leave The Power Cord Pluged Into The Side Of The Unit. Then Try To Power The Unit Up Again. If Nothing Happens. Chck The manual I Think There Is A Reset Button Somewhere On The Machine Most Toshibas Have Them Somewhere. Hope This Works

Had the same problem, blue light no screen, took the cover off found a small black rectangle block not completely pushed in. the block is located on the right center on the part above the battery and right behind the screen.
