This is a dual voice coil setup. You can use a two channel amp (stereo) or connect them in series to a mono amp.

Yes, you can use them but be careful. These are not necessarily robust speakers. If they sound strained, back off.

1 Connect the front speakers.

Connect the right front speaker to the SPEAKERS R terminals and place it on the right side of the unit. Connect the left to the SPEAKERS L terminals and place it on the left side.The speaker cords with the white stripes go to the + terminals.

Go online, look up the Aiwa website, pull up the model.

One pair goes to bigger speaker (woofer) and other pair for smaller speakers in box, to get full frequency response, you need to hook both cables.

if you had insects and they have been nesting the best thing is to throw it out. because they have probably did alot of damage inside like the wires and connections and it would not be worth cleaning it.
