Puk code comes up cannot get a code to unlock it

I think PUK code comes with the sim card, call your service provider and ask him about PUK code

there are two puk codes of your phones..both puk codes are found on the case of your sim card...just scratch the puk 1 and there you'll find the code...once you've done it....enter the code on your phone.thank you.

A PIN Unlock Code (PUC) or PIN Unlock Key (PUK) is used in GSM mobile phones and some smartcards to unblock a blocked card.
A PUK code is required if a GSM SIM card was locked after entering the wrong PIN code three times in a row. Entering a wrong PUK code ten times in a row disables the SIM card permanently. Both the PIN and the PUK codes are supplied by the operator, but only the PIN code can be changed by the user.

PUK code is Personal Unlock Key Code.
This is code stored in flash memory that only the service provider with proprietary software can unlock.
On many phones - after 5 wrong PIN entries - the PUK code request comes up.

Puk code, personal unlocking key. It is sim card related / spesific, if you take the sim card out from the phone, the phone will work with another sim card.

The puk comes up when the pin code has been entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.

you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times now you are required to enter a puk code to reset the pin code. 

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code. 


if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.

Even if it comes with the phone, PUK code is associated to SIM card, not to the phone.
When you input wrong SIM card pin three times , the phone will ask the PUK code.
Usually PUK is printed on a sticker inside phone box.
If you have lost your PUK code you will need to call the company that provides you the phone service when you bought the phone (eg. Vodaphone, Orange, 3, Telecom etc.).
The only alternative is going to a phone shop, they will call the phone company , get PUK and unlock your SIM.

Some phones have also an unlock code, but this is not called PUK, if phone asks for PUK you need to call phone company.
There is no way to get PUK straight from the phone.
If phone is locked with Phone Lock Code go to a local phone shop, they will connect it to a computer and get the code.
Common phone default unlock codes are 0000 for Sony Erikkson, and 1234 for Nokia.
