AF, in this context, refers to autofocus. Using the autofocus function of a camera, you're allowing the focus motor to adjust to change focus instead of manually moving it yourself. When working in the autofocus setting, you can also often select the focusing mode as well.
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

No, you cannot use the Canon as a web cam. It was designed as a camera, to store images (and incidentally, videos) to a memory card. It was not designed to stream live images to another device.
Yes please contact the manufacturer or dealer if the guarantee period is not over. You cud get it fixed for free then. Digital cameras are sensitive devices. so dont wait. Dont take any chance.
I dont think Cannon EOS is having bluetooth in-buit. If it has one, then you can send pictures to PC using it. From the target PC, search for camera device. After it got detected, you can browse the pictures present in your camera from PC and also can transfer them to PC provided your camera is having bluetooth functionality ( check user manual for it)
