Hi SIR ! this is karthik from INDIA.I have purchased Acer Travelmate 5730 laptop 1 month ago.When ever i start or boot my laptop i can see a white blank screen.Then it goes again everything works fine. If i boot when i recently worked in my laptop i cant see any blank screen.But when i finish my work and shutdown and come after few hours (say something 3-5 hours),again when i on my laptop i can see white blank screen.So in order to solve this problem i made in display option i.e (TURN OFF MY MONITOR=After 1 min),This option helps me a lot if my laptop goes blank and white.I dont know what is the exact problem.Is there any fault in my laptop?please help me.Any other method to overcome my problem.

This must surely be a problem with your monitor, because you say that you see the white screen while boot up. If this is a graphic driver issue, you may have the problem after booting up in windows. Since its been only a month old laptop, the product must be in warranty for sure. Take away any CDs in the drive, any USB drives and see if this white screen appears. Let us know.

Thanku Sir for your reply !!! when i purchased my laptop and installed XP 2 for the first time there was no problem.After few days i saw dat blank screen during boot up.So i myself reinstalled XP 2 but still the same problem occured.My graphic is "Intel Graphics media accerlator for mobile". I can see the blank screen only if i boot it after some hours.But if i boot repeatedly i cant see any blank screen it works perfectly fine.Only if i boot it after some hours i have the problem else no problem at all.
