SOURCE: need a fan motor for fedders model A6Y18F7B 18000

Easiest thing to do is pull the motor out and take it to Grainger. They can probably match it with a Dayton brand. No HVAC place will sell you a motor. They are all wholesale, and not to the public. You really don't have a whole lot of options here.

Good Luck

I have a Fedders A6X08F2A-B Service # and Serial # MP 178550 and I would like to have the specs on it eg: how many BTU's, model # etc

Hi, The numbers you have given tell me, this unit is a 8,000 btu unit.!2, 000 btu's equal a ton of cooling, so you are just under a ton. This is about all I can tell you. There should be a data plate that will give you amps, volts, compressor amps ect.
