The piston engine is the power plant. It generates thrust by turning the propeller, electrical power through the generator, hydraulic power with engine oil and/or a hydraulic system. It also sometimes has a vacuum pump in the form of a sliding vane pump to operate the mechanical gyros instruments. On a piston engine there is no "bleed air" supply. For the cabin pressure pneumatic system, piston aircraft, take compressed air from the compressor side of the turbocharger (or supercharger old airplanes) and routed into the cabin as long as the engine is running. The outflow valve which regulates how much air is let out of the cabin is used to maintain the desired cabin pressure. The cabin outflow valve is controlled by a cabin pressure controller where the pilot sets the cabin pressure and climb or descent rates. This is the only pneumatic system I can think of other than "de-icing boots" on the wing leading edge that are pneumatically operated.
A "receiver" is usually associated with a receiver/dryer in an air conditioning system.

My Arrow PT50 air staple gun will fire one staple but the piston will not retract and I have to manually push it back for the next staple how do i repair, failure new not used very often

Either the piston needs lubricating, or the spring that returns it is broken. Most pneumatic tools do require "pneumatic oil" run into the air line before use.

Hi, can you assist with Continental Aircraft engine number?

aircraft engines , repair and maintenance are all controlled by the air safety division
that means that the continental aircraft engine manufacturers will have records of the engine from the engine number and all work done on that engine to comply with the safety requirements
contact them direct on their- contact us- tab on their web page and ask them

How do take apart a cp7120 pneumatic chisel/needle scaler? Trying to figure out why it doesn't hammer under 90 psi or higher air pressure.

before you pull it apart, put a couple of drops of sewing machine oil in the air inlet before attaching the air hose
they work from a sliding piston in a cylinder and if an oiler in the air line is not used, will dry out and the piston will not slide easily
other than that the end unscrews from the cylinder

Central pnematic compressors, will not build up air

Use soapy water to check for air leaks. Can also check piston ring and valves. Make sure engine is driving the compressor.

92 mazda miata new clutch new clutch master cylinder systems been bled several times clutch will work 4 awhile park car then try again and clutch quits working again, while driving clutch works fine 4...

Sounds like the seal in the new clutch master cylinder. I've seen that same problem in the hand brake system in small 2 and 4 seat airplanes. ( I'm and aircraft mechanic) The problem is not air in the lines so bleeding won't help. The piston seal is intermittantly failing to seal. That is whty the function can return without any apparent reason as the seal has seated itself. The only cure is to replace or rebuild the master cylinder. ( Yes, even new or rebuilt ones can have a defective or improperly installed piston seal)

Hope this helps

I have Microsoft Flight Simulator X and a Satek X52 flight control, however I have problems with the throttle on all aircraft. I have to use the F-4 key - can you help?

You need to assign the throttle function correctly WITHIN FSX settings area itself. Also calibrate the joystick in windows first. If you are not familiar with assigning FSX functions to your joystick, check the Learning Center section within FSX for step-by-step details.
