Your problem is going to be 1 of 2 things either the dryer is not tumbling o you're not getting adequate air flo out of the drye which basically suffocates the drye which basically suffocates the dryer element preventing it from drying, you can check this by turning the dryer on and finding out where the vent is outside and verify airflow is good. My guess would be the second is the problem

no,caused by moisture,you can try cleaning out the dryer,unplug it,pull out the lint filter,remove the bottom panel and remove the duct that the lint filter slides into and clean it out,then if you have a shop vac,vac up all the lint you can see then stick the hose on the other end and blow all the lint from the back to the front and vac up the lint this way you don't have to pull the drum to clean the cabinet,make sure you blow off the motor and all the gas parts,then remove the vent line from the back of the dryer,if it's a long run from the dryer to the out side i use a leaf blower to blow out the line,go outside first and make sure nothing is blocking the vent then blow it out from behind the dryer.if the vent line is blocked or the dryer filled with lint this can cause extra moisture and also a fire in the dryer.do this once a year and you'll have no problems with the dryer and the way it dryes the clothes.

Thanks for using FixYa. No Heat issue in dryer is usually caused due to two things mainly: Thermal Fuse, Wiring Harness. Start with checking the Thermal Fuse which is mounted inside the back cover panel to the exhaust duct and is mounted in white plastic housing. If thats fine then the Heating Element should be checked. Please do revert for further assistance or else accept the solution if the issue is resolved.

Take the whole front w/ door panel off...it's right in there.

Possibly the top will need loosened too for front removal.

Look at belt while you're in there...it may need replaced.

Use the sears parts website, and you can download the manuals for both machines that will tell you.

you can call any sears store and they will be happy to register them for you.

if its less than 15 years old its a direct drive whirlpool, no belt, remove the cabinet, not the back panel. look up direct drive whirlpool washer cabinet removal on internet, and replace the coupler, most likely, if it drains.

what is the model #the heater is not in the back of the he4.

remove hose from rear of dryer ..try load with hose off if dryes ok suspect vent hose plugged either at rear when dryer pushed back or between inside and outside exhaust
