How to change a belt on Aeg 56800 - Whirlpool LHW0050PQ Front Load Washer

If you can hear the motor run when activated replace the belt. You should check or have checked the rollers that the drum is supported by. Check the belt tension-er replace if worn. While the unit is disassembled the rollers are easy to replace.

Vacuum all loose lint out from around the motor while disassembled.

These simple older machines are reliable and very durable and only have a few moving parts.

Have you tried cleaning out your dryer vent? A Clogged Dryer Vent will lead to dryer malfunctions. You may want to look into a Dryer Vent Cleaning

Again open the front panel and look for the tech sheet, it will give you the steps. You can try to google your model with tech sheet on the same line, and a lot of times can find it. But why do think you have a bad belt?

the felt is to stop rubbing you can get it from a craft shop. I changed the felt bearing cover with a nylon type washer works better and now don't get static discharge when taking out the clothes. under a 5ver for the lot.

you cant on them you probly need new brushs in your moter that is what would slow it down or your bearing might be on there way so if there is no noie cuming from the drum then its just brushes ok

Possible fault in the motor , the bearings the drive belt or there is friction on the drive shaft.

it should show a full sunshine for high and half a sunshine for low
