SOURCE: CANON I550 PRINTER
Your printer works with the BCI-3E (bk/cyan/magenta/yellow) cartridges, that are in fact just ink-tanks, the printhead being apart of the tanks, so if the cartridges are not empty, it cannot be because of them. It doesnt matter if you replace the cartridges, the problem is in the printhead. Curious thing is that usually it starts with pour quality printing if printhead starts to clogg, not with blank pages...
If the problem occured just a while ago, you should consider that NOT PRINTING a long time (30 days) with a printer can lead to ink drying out in the printhead, clogging the nozzles. But usually not entire, so that something is still printed, paper does not come out white.
Anyway, now it comes:
If you have some tehnical skills, you can remove the cartridge and desassembly the printhead (where the cartridge are in) and do the following:
First of all, look if there is somne ink lines on the nozzle part of the printhead. If you put a paper-tissue on the nozzles and it let on paper the 4 lines (black and colors) than maybe it's useless to clean the printhead, ink is comming trough and dont know why paper comes out blank.
If there are dry:
Put a paper-tissue on a small plate (like a coffee-cup plate), then put some boiling water on it, just 2~3mm of water over the tissue.
Put the printhead with the nozzles part downside on the tissue, in the hot water.
Let it stay there in the water 30 min.
Put the cartridges back on the printhead (without installing it in the printer), rap it in an other clean tissue, than shake it strongy as if you want to force ink to get out trough the nozzles. Then clean gentle the nozzle part of the printhead on some sheets of tissue.
Get the cartridges again out of the printhead, install it in the printer, then install the cartridges again and run a few cleaning processes from the printers maintenance software.
It should work. If you dont have the tehnicall skills needed, Canon gotcha, or you can visit a local specialist to make all this for you, they usualy have better equipmens, as ultrasonic cleaners and special solvents that makes all this easyer.
If after that still dont work, it's bad, it's not from cartridges or printhead, it's something else... Dont know what, from a distance.
Rate the solution if it helped you!
Thx.
SOURCE: Canon MP730 won't print at all (blank pages).
try to move the blue nozzel over the printing head to the from the right to the left and try, it will work
SOURCE: Canon BJC 80 prints blank pages!!
Power off the printer.
Unplug it, then plug it back in.
Wait until it stops its initialization sequence.
Press and hold the power button.
Allow the printer to beep 7 times, then release the power button.
This will reset the EEProm to factory default, and should clear your problem.

Regarding the Cannon scanner error 2145,50. I note you have tried to fix this, but failed. The actual problem is that the scanner will not communicate with the computer correctly if it is connected through a USB hub. A direct connection to the computer cures it.
I know, I had that problem. I am a retired elctronics design engineer.
