it must be your tv settings. as far as i know, the ps3 wont do that. if it did i wouldn't think there is an easy fix. on your tv remote is there a button that you can change the display setting? say, from full screen to zoom? usually named "wide" "view" "theater" if so then you need to make sure its set to full screen mode. keep changing the display option and you should see a better picture. if there isn't a button, go into the menu settings, the picture or display settings and change it there.
hope that helps
Possibly a intermittent connection in the control buttons or the ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) connector from the controls to the main PCB. Take it in for servicing, they will do a trial by substitution (swap out control) and lubricate the connector. There isn't really anything you can do to fix with this sort of problem.
You have a bad button board . This is a single board with a series of small button switches that control all these functions. Most repair shop will charge around 75.00 to fix.
hello, these units have a very fine zoom switch and can get damaged by a drop or fine sand. the zoom switch sits under the actual button. if you turn the camera on in camera mode and the display is showing the zoom on screen display then you know it is the switch.
Kyle850. I have a fujifilm finepix camera myself, and just recently had the same problem. The camera worked fine until one day I turned it on to take a picture and there was the "card not initialized" message. To fix the problem, just turn on your camera, push the menu button and use the right/left arrow buttons near the zoom button in the top left corner of the camera. Push the right arrow button until you come to the "option" window in the camera's view finder and use the "up" function of the zoom to highlight the "set-up" window. Press "ok", and use the right arrow button scoll over to the "2" tab and press the ok button again. Then use the "up/down" function of the zoom button to scroll down to the "format" tab. Press ok button again and use the "left" button near the zoom in and out button to highlight the "ok" option in the format window. By pressing the ok button here, it will reformat and reinitialize your picture card. If you do have pics already on your pic card, you may want to take your pic card to a photo center and see about recovering these pics before you go through the reformat process because there is a good chance that when you reformat your pic disk any pics on it will be gone. Good luck. SG
I fixed my problem myself. Simply read the top of the camera where it says TO USE SMART ZOOM SET IMAGE SIZE TO LESS THAN 2.8M Then go to the very bottom button on your camera (there are three) and press it and reset your image size. Then your zoom will work. Problem solved.
