Try a factory reset, if that doesn't help you may need a new main board

Message really isnt a problem unless you cannot exit it. Anytime a new input is connected ie. (HDMI) (Component) etc. the tv automatically senses the added component and simply asks if you want to use it now. If you choose "yes" then it will switch to this input. If you choose "no" the input is still available through the menu but will not automatically change to it.

Does that same input work with another component like a dvd player? If so the problem is with the apple device. May be a setting. If dvd player does not work either replace the main board. If the input works ok with dvd may be a software download for the tv. If tv is connected to the internet the go to menu and setup and look for upgrade selection. if not you can go to lg website and down load update to a flash drive. Depends on model. Look for model code on back of tv.

Have you tried going through the inputs for the TV and just seeing if it defaulted to some other input?

Be sure you are watching the appropriate input. Example, if your cable box is hooked up to HDMI1, be sure TV is set to view HDMI1. Usually found through INPUT button on remote or setting in TV menu. Good luck.

I solved the same problem by disabling SIMPLINK from OPTIONS menu. I own the LG TV myself. The LG TV comes SIMPLINK "ON" as default setting from the factory. Go to MEMU -> OPTIONS -> Turn SIMPLINK to "OFF". This should work....

I've had "Record-blocking signals detected" on my LG RH398H-M recorder off & on since I bought it almost a year ago. Also other minor problems. LG replaced the recorder 4 times with no change in problems. I became suspicious when I found that when these messages came on I could switch to any channel, digital or analog, even the weather channel, and I would still get the same message for about 5 minutes & then everything would be OK again. Recently I finally got the chance to try something. When the message came on I disconnected the input to the recorder and the message still came on! Again, I got the message "Record-blocking signal detected" with ABSOLUTELY NO INPUT CONNECTED to the recorder!!! Of course it's impossible for the recorder to be receiving blocking signals when there's nothing connected to the inputs. I wrote to LG again and threatened a law suit but so far they've been ignoring me. I would like to hear from anyone who can duplicate the above.

u need tv remote, with that u can go to the options for ur tv and enable the hdmi allowing ur ps3 to come onto ur tv.
