You can't, DVI is a digital video source and VGA is an analog video source. however there is a VGA to component RGBHV cable that you can use. the Mitsubishi TV is very limited to the resolutions the VGA output can be. only 1080I, 480P or 480I. HD component video input in the menu you must change the source from Y /Pb/ Pr to RGB.

You will not need SAMS on this one,Frank! I fixed four Mits. with
your symptom in the last two weeks.....parts = 1000mf/25v caps
105 degree hi-temp X 4.......Location = DM module...for pix's...

I have improved above procedure....When finished with repair of
PCB.,I place it secure in sockets , with two screws on end of
module back in place.THEN I slide cover down over module
and put the side screws in..........

Be gentle and if you need more help............T.

this is correct! this tv does not have the ATSC tuner built in. 1080i is a format of the digital broadcast approved by the ATSC. you must have a source of this format to veiw this format. standard cable boxes and satilite boxes altho digital are not outputing HD formats so you need to have the HD boxes to veiw HD 1080i and the broadcasters must be broadcasting HD to get true HD.

Check the connections for firmness. If the converter works properly, there shouldn't be any problem other than this.

TV Doesn't Function: Can turn on, but no menu or input recognition

the set like all has a hard reset which requires a four digit number code and the original Mitsubishi remote---sets almost everything in the set back to original except convergence.

I do not think the model listed here has either a HDMI or a DVI---if trying to connect a HD signal to the set it must be connected via the DTV input which is component but HD.

How do i connect my tv to cpu

This depends a bit on the computer. The only compatible input is the VGA port. (You need a 15-pin VGA monitor cable with ferrite core to avoid interference.) If your computer is a newer model with DVI output but no VGA port, you will also need a DVI to VGA adapter.

I hope this helps.
