Thanks alot. It really worked for me, i mean the reseting procedure of menu>service sett>press #+start button+enter same time>enter 163>enter>go down to Execute>click start button. Then Restart machine. Wait a little so it adds toner then say 'ready to copy'. Hope somebody finds it helpful too

Hello, this is error for abnormal rise of temperature, if it is not seriuos ( I mean nothing faulty ) you can reset it in service mode. Procedure: While the copier in copy ready or showing error: 1) Press the asterisk key " * " on the control panel. 2) Press the 2 and 8 keys of the keypad at the same time. 3) Press the asterisk key " * " on the control panel. Choose: COPIER FUNCTION CLEAR ERR
There are two type capacitor. One for running capacitor for compressor and one for condenser fan motor by each separate capacitor. Some times two in one capacitor being used. Just check in your condenser unit, in your 2 in one capacitor, there are three parts and one has four pins and other two has each two pins where you can clip the wire.Remove existing wires and replace same with new capacitor.
Now, in this capacitor near each each part mention as "C" "H" " F". Cmeans compressor common and H means for compressor starting and F means fan starting. Be careful don't interchange any wire. And also while replace capacitor don't add or reduce the mfd. Ex.. your existing capacitoris 35+3 mfd means 35mfd for compressor function and 3 mfd for fan motor function. Hope helpful.

Press "Clear" then "Exposure Mode" then "Clear" then "Exposure Mode" quickly like within 4 seconds. The exposure mode key is the far left key.
If you do this correctly the display will go blank.
Key in 14 as if making 14 copies
Press the print button.
Short version: C, far left, C, far left, 14, print
The machine should reset and run fine. This is a common "false" code on these machines.
If it comes back after a couple of tries the you have a thermal fuse or heater lamp failure.
