remove the memory of laptop and try power on if you here long beep place it back the memory but before you must clean the contact pin of the memory!

On Samsung 740 this is a very common problem with the high voltage impulse transformator in the invertor block. That needs to change.

you have problwm with disply chack your disply setting from the bios settings

Look at the power supply, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

This model may have a worn out capacitor, C808, 1000uf @ 25V. It is in the middle of the power supply board.
I have fixed many.
