I assume you ant to connect your tablet to the internet. To do so, yu need a hotspot, or a router with internet access. That could be in a public place (starbucks) or at home. But when you want to connect at home, you have to create your own hotspot to the net. Try to contact a provider, to find out how you can connect to the net. Cable DSL, or even with 3G or 4G.

Unable to get internet

You can separate the troubleshooting into parts. Go to a place having a wi-fi internet hot-spot, like Starbucks or Gloria Jeans'. Assuming you are in the USA:

http://www.wififreespot.com/

Get a coffee and turn your tablet wi-fi on. From

http://www.manualslib.com/manual/742236/Rca-Rct6272w23.html?page=11#manual

1. Go to Settings > WIRELESS & NETWORKS > Wi-Fi, and slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position.
2. The device will scan Wi-Fi networks automatically and display the available names.
• If the device finds a network that you connected to previously, it will connect to it automatically.
3. Tap a network name to connect to it. Tap 'Agree to conditions' if necessary.

You should then be able to go to a webpage. Once you get this bit working, you can turn to your home internet.

You need of course an account with an ISP, who will probably supply you with a gateway (modem/router). If you only have a modem (connection box to the ISP) that does not have a wi-fi capability, you will need to get a router (wi-fi broadcaster). These can be quite small and neat.

http://phandroid.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/OnHub-by-ASUS-Screen-Shot-2015-10-27-at-5.29.02-PM.png

For assistance on this contact your ISP tech help line, since some of the advice is peculiar to the equipment they use.

Connect the router (if you needed to get one) to the modem with an ethernet cable

http://cdn2.pcadvisor.co.uk/cmsdata/features/3502678/ethernet-cable.jpg

and follow the setup instructions that came with it. Then do the same as in the cafe wi-fi hot spot. It should work.

What things can you do on Nabi 2 that do not require Wi Fi and what procedures would require Wi Fi

Wifi is needed for any game or app that requires access to the Internet. That would include email and GPS map functions. If the app/game is self-contained within the tablet, wifi is not required.

How do I convert a wireless wi fi kindle to my pc. I do not have access to wi fi.

Not sure what you are asking. If you have internet service, you could purchase and install a cheap wi-fi router after the modem. This will provide you with local wi-fi service, which you can use with your Kindle. Just follow the instructions for the router to properly set up and secure.

I have a RCA tablet rct6272w23 and I can't connect to internet what should I do?

Hi
To connect to the Internet with a tablet, you need to have either a SIM card with mobile access (3g or 4g) or a Wifi card in the tablet and access to a Wifi Hotspot. I downloaded the manual for your tablet here:
http://www.rcatablets.com/sites/default/files/CT9272W23%20IB%20English.pdf
and looking through it the first option does not exist for you as there is no facility for a SIM card.
Therefore you need to access a Wifi hotspot - somewhere. It could be your home router, a cafe, a railway station or a multitude of places. In order to access the Internet this way you must follow this procedure:
3. Tap a network name to connect to it, and enter a password if necessary.
4. Alternatively, if your Wi-Fi router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup, tap the WPS icon at the top of the screen, and then press the WPS button on your router.
5. If your network does not broadcast its SSID, tap the Plus icon + at the top of the screen, and enter the Network SSID (name) of the network. If necessary, enter security or other network confi guration details.
In public places you may need to pay to get the necessary access password.
Hope this clears things up for you

Tablet froze up and can't open up do I need a SIM card?

try holding in power button for up to a minute to force tablet to power down and then try powering it up again. Do you need a sim card depends if Tablet accesses mobile data from the mobile phone network. Some tablets only have Wi-Fi and would need a Wi FI network or WI FI mobile phone router device setup to work together in tandem.

If I'm traveling and need to have internet access for my Kocaso tablet which device is good for this would an aircard work for this device?

You will need access to a 3G mobile phone network, which is not guaranteed throughout the world.
The 3G on the tablet does not work with every 3G device, so invest in an unlocked MiFi device, which can be used with local SIM cards to give data access to the internet via the Wi-Fi on the tablet.

Wi-Fi is becoming more popular in towns and cities, which does not require another device only another cost.

Too many pattern attempts to unlock my iview 754tpc but my wi-fi was switched off so how do i sign back in

only by putting a sim card with a active data connection in the device then attempt to unlock, you can not remotely turn on wifi very easily, may be a bit more simple if you have debug mode turned on but most people don't-Good Luck.

Can I use my ATT air card with my Toshiba Portege M200 tablet pc?

I have owned several tablet PC's and all of them (including my most recent Toshiba) worked just fine with the existing wi-fi card. Please be clear, however, that AT&T wireless air card service and "wi-fi" are two different things.
Your AT&T card pulls internet service over cellular connections, and your wi-fi card connects to a local hot spot (if available) or your own wireless internet access.
First of all, be sure that you have an active AT&T laptop connect account and then follow these steps:
Power on your laptop. Insert the AT&T wireless air card into an available USB slot. Wait a few moments (this may take several minutes some times), and the card will typically start attempting to install itself and its software. If you have any trouble with this, ATT provides free installation tech-support at the following site:
http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/solutions/wireless-laptop/modem-cards.jsp

You may also have them contact you at your convenience by going to this page and filling out the form:
https://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/b2b/contact_us.jsp?wtLinkName=ContactATT&wtLinkLoc=RN

Hope this helps!
Jeff
