Need codes for my LG TV

First try all the codes listed under LG TV in the manual. If none of those work ther probably isn't a code that will work in the remote. I have had no luck in calling the number in the manual to get new codes downloaded into the remote via phone. I also sent an email asking for a replacement that would operate my DirecTV Genie DVR. This was their Guaranty when they sold the 9910. They simply told me they would not honor it. And I told them very clearly what I thought of them, not that it helped solve the problem.

But there may be a solution!

Under the battery compartment on the remote is a connector. On this model it is a JP1 (Not a JP1.1, JP1.x). You will have to find a cable with JP1 on one end and something that will connect to a port on your PC. Then you may be able to download a free program and add the LG TV code to your remote. And also do a lot of other amazing things.
