I want to put my Apple Iphone A1221 back to factory setting.
This is very easy.
On your iPhone, go to "Settings", "General" and at the bottom of the list you will see an option for "Reset". Select this and select the option for "Erase All Content and Settings". You will be asked to confirm that you want to erase your iPhone before the process starts.
Good luck.
Apple provides an easy way to delete everything from your iPhone and restore it to factory settings.
Find the "Settings" icon on your iPhone screen.
The icon contains an image of gears.
Tap the "Settings" icon.
Tap the line that says "General."
It also has the gear icon.
Tap "Reset."
View the options on the screen, which include resets for settings, home screen, keyboard dictionary, network settings and location warning.
To erase all data, select the line that says "Erase All Content and Settings." When you select it, a box pops up with a red button that says "Erase iPhone."
Touch the red button and your iPhone erases all data on the phone.
Back up the iPhone in iTunes before proceeding.
Scroll down the screen until you see a line that says "Reset."
Ok, I'm using my iphone 4 running 7.1.0 as my guide on this one, so I must not be using all the correct headings, but this should be close. Go to "settings->general->reset->Erase all content and settings". That should erase all personal data, contacts, songs, photos, etc... And reset all of the settings to factory default. If you think you may want to reverse this, or if you're planning on upgrading to a newer generation of iPhone and want to transfer your data then be sure you sync your phone with iTunes before doing this. Let me know if that does not work, there is another way to do it but it will require you to update to the latests version of iOS that your device can run, which will erase your jailbreak if you've installed one (not to be confused with re-lock your phone, if you paid to get your phone factory unlocked, and that does not mean a sim interposer, your phone should remain unlocked, no matter if you update iOS).
You must connect the phone to PC then install iTunes *download it from apple.com* in the main window of itunes you will have the option to restore the phone .This procedure will erase all data from phone .

Sometimes the
iPhone can lockup and stop working or just show the Apple symbol and
not do anything else. But panic not, normally an app has caused the
phone to crash and it needs to be restarted.
Here’s how you do it:
Sometimes just pressing and holding the home button for about 5 seconds, can help. But if not try this:
Press and hold the iPhone’s
Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for several seconds, or until you
see the apple logo on the screen.
