The mechanism inside the two back wheels are broken and so don't attach properly. My husband can fix them temporarily but they continue to roll off at the inconvenient of times. Would greatly appreciate any advice or help on the situation

Hi, you need to call the company and ask them for a replacement part. Some companies keep these for several years for a specific model and then there are models that are trial runs, that they only keep parts for 2-3 years past for repairs.
It sounds like yours was made well to start with, so they may have parts for you. I can't find a specific company that would have those. Hopefully you have the books.

Ok you should be able to get that part, it is the brake engage mechanism by the sound of it, but we can figure that out for sure.
