How do I remove the front cover from a Fujitsu ASTA12LCC air conditioner?

  1. Turn off the air conditioner: Before attempting to remove the front cover, ensure that the air conditioner is switched off to avoid any potential hazards.
  2. Locate the release buttons: Look for the release buttons on the sides of the front cover. They are usually located towards the bottom of the cover.
  3. Press the release buttons: Using your fingers, press the release buttons inward towards the center of the unit. This should release the front cover from the main body of the air conditioner.

  5. Clean or maintain the unit: With the front cover removed, you can clean or maintain the air conditioner as required. Be sure to follow any instructions provided in the user manual or by a professional technician.
Note: The specific steps to remove the front cover from a Fujitsu ASTA12LCC air conditioner may vary depending on the model and unit installation. It is always best to refer to the user manual or consult a professional technician if you are unsure of the process or need additional assistance.

My fujitsu halcyon dc inverter is not working at all.

To learn more about your unit first see whether the unit is receiving power. Check to see your breaker is turned on and that there is power coming out of the breaker (use a volt/ohm meter and measure for 115 volts or 220 volts depending on the units requirements.) Fujitsu has code lights that light up to tell you the status of the unit and gives error codes. I assume the unit is dead and there status lights are not lit up.

Next check for power at the outdoor unit with the volt/ohm meter. The outdoor unit will hav a disconnect box on the wall. Some have fuses which may be blown, some have breakers, and some have no fuses or breakers but do have a shorting bar with a handle that you pull straight out to disconnect power going to the outdoor unit. Once you have opened the cover of the unit you can tell which kind of disconnect you have. Remove the cover or pull the disconnect bar. You then will have the power circuits exposed and can measure to see if the unit is getting power.

Next, in the case of mini splits, there is sometime a indoor power switch to disconnect power to the indoor unit. The power for it comes from the outdoor unit. Make sure it is turned on. Sometimes kids play around and throw switches and don't know what they are doing and kill the power to the indoor part of your unit. If you are unsure if the indoor unit is getting power, you can remove the indoor cover by prying off the cover, then unscrew the phillips screw on the right of the panel to expose the incoming power terminals and measure for power actually being at the unit.

Lastly if you have power to the outdoor unit but no power to the indoor unit and there is no problem with the indoor disconnect, go back to the outdoor unit and check the fuses to see if any are blown. They are located inside the outdoor unit. You will have to remove the outdoor cover and screens to get to them. At this point you should have a repair manual with information on where the fuses are.
You may be getting over your head at this point and will best need to get a repair person with experience.

Most people are not capable of doing his last step.

How to remove front cover on a Fujitsu indoor unit model AOTR30L CT

The unit pivots from the top much like a Honeywell t-stat it snaps into place at the bottom in two places approximately 1/3 the width of the unit in from either side. It is mounted to a flat plate that is secured to the wall. The cover should be held on by screws. So no real pressure should be required.

Hi, your evap. drain is block, i know you are smart, we can do this, remove front cover of evap.(indoor unit) check for location of screws, look carefully you will see drain connection and tray, try to clean, use mild cleaning solvent, or practical way push something flexible into tubing, also clear your air filter, and you'll be in good shape, also check leveling of evap(indoor unit), with spirit level, should be horozontally leved. good luck.

How to Clean 1984 TRANE Cooling VENTS inside house No Manuals

The Outdoor unit will be easy 1st diconeect power at panel, or disconnect box near unit. Remove top of unit, be careful not to damage fan blades. Spray coils (fins) with a light degreaser let is soak for 5 mins. wash out coils from inside the unit out. Spray straight on so you push the dirt out the other side.

Re assemble and start up.

Indoor coil will be accessed by removing front cover and you may have another cover to expose the inside of the coil fins. That is where you need to clean. Spray degreaser on coils and rinse off. If its gunked up then use a wire brush 1st. Carefull not to bend the fins over.

Check the drain pan at bottom of the coil to be sure it's not full of stuff. Blow out if needed.

You should be clean and ready for the season
